What salon treatment should I get to reduce frizzy hair?

I am going to the salon and want my hair to have a makeover. I know what cut I want but i want to have a salon treatment. I am already planning on getting my hair hot oiled but I don't know what else I want. My hair is very frizzy and damaged from heat tools. I want to keep my curls though and don't want straight hair I just want it to be able to wear it natural without it being so frizzy and big.

My hair care routine now has brought my hair back a little but the frizz is still there. I haven't used any hot tool in over a year and have been following this.

What salon treatment do you recommend I get to revive my hair and make it softer and not frizzy?

I am using a great hair product that is helping me with the frizz, it's Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil, it keeps my hair smooth, shiny, frizz less and healthy. :D

I'd recommend a Keratin treatment. I've never personally had it done because I have very straight, relaxed hair but I've had friends who get it done and love it.

Keratin comes with a fat price tag and I hear that it's worse than a relaxer. I don't even know if they still offer this in the salons but I use to get a clear cellophane on my hair that helped with frizz and made my hair shiny. In L.A. I paid about $40 for it every 3 months. With the keratin you're forced to keep it up and get the touch up's done if you don't want the dreaded frizzy scalp look. Thus forcing you to reach for the heat to keep it looking right.

NEVER do the Keratin. Look up and see if any local salons in your area do Pravana. Yes, it's the people that carry the crazy vibrant hair colors. They have an organic smoothing treatment that great for frizzy hair and is completely safe.

It lasts up to 6-8 weeks. It is a bit expensive but from what I've seen all the clients in my salon love it and always come back for it.

we carry coppola's keratin complex smoothing therapy at my salon. coppola's formula contains no formaldehyde -- it's just a straight up blend of pure keratin proteins. it's totally safe for both the client & stylist. i've done many applications and have never had a client not absolutely fall in love with it. that being said, the quality of your keratin experience depends solely on the person doing your application. i have definitely seen keratin nightmares happen even with a safe and effective formula.

it all depends upon how much product is used (less is waywayway more in this case), and how much heat is applied with the flat iron when sealing in the keratin. & this all depends upon the client -- without accurate understanding of these key elements the treatment can crash and burn, a.k.a. flat, limp greasy hair that looks lifeless.

although keratin is pricey, it really can be life changing if you have unmanageably frizzy/curly hair. if done correctly it can last up to 4-6 months.

The salon inwork at does a 3 step keratin treatment for 25 dollars. Its the paul mitxhell awaphui treatment. Id call around and see what salons arouns you off ana for how mch. Ive done the treatments on quite a few people all with diffeent hair types ans it works amazing

Keratin is not more damaging then a relaxer. In theory a relaxer is the worst thing you can put on your hair. A Keratin treatment will reduce the frizz, calm the curl, and reduce drying time. Yes you're going to spend a pretty penny, but if you treat it properly at home it will last you up to 4 months. Ulta Salon has a treatment called Kerastraigh that starts at $160, which is one of the lower prices on the market.
