So I think I want to get an industrial piercing? I go to an amazing piercer already, but I do have small ears so I hope that's not a problem. I do have my cartilage and forward helix on my right ear so I'd have to get an industrial on my left. but what are your opinions on that piercing or experiences if you have one? thanks (:

I had one and it took forever to heal. It was painful for a few minutes. I got it on my left ear and I sleep on my left side so that was a problem. It's bad ass over all. But It's just not for everyone.:)

I loved mine but had to take it out the top part was pierced weird...it is painful like most piercings theyll do the one side and then the top part youll hear two pops then they put the bar in...make sure you clean it and careful you don't snag it on stuff and of course make sure you take care of it...itd look awesome.

I have mine pierced! I didn't find it to be too painful (2/10 on pain scale), but I do have a very high pain tolerance. I paid either $25 or $30 since the place I went to counted it as 2 piercings. Afterwards it felt kind of hot and a little sore and I couldn't wear beanies for a few months as it felt uncomfortable and a bit sore. If you're a side sleeper like me I'd invest on one of those you shaped pillows. I have a huge hello kitty plushy, so I just use the space between her legs as a place to rest my head since I didn't know what to expect beforehand. Other than that just clean it regularly and be careful not to hit it on clothes or headphones otherwise it'll be a bit tender for a while. I hope it goes well for you! :)

First: it is a little weird to sleep with at first (or at least is was for me, being a side and stomach sleeper).
Second: If you tend to wear glasses, the industrial won't work well, I had to remove mine because glasses irritated it.
Third: I can't tell how small your ears are exactly, but I do know that I had to custom order a bar because the smallest bar size available is too small for my ear, and my piercest even did it at a little more of a dramatic angel just so it wouldn't be as bad. If your ears are that small as well, I don't know if you'll be able to get "a pretty bar", I know mine wouldn't have had much room for it.

I have mine and it actually got infected so my mother took a garlic like herb stick through it and it healed but it takes forever to heal it doesn't hurt to pierce it hurts to heal I've had mine for 5 years.
