I liked it a lot. The same color that you used in the inner color would look great on the whole lid. The matte looks great though.

Thank you! @tiffany for transition color at the crease I used my matte pink blush from mac and the outer corner is macs sketch and fig 1. @patricia the inner corner is macs eyeshadow in nylon. I have used it all over the lid too it's gorgeous that way. I posted this pic on my page and it flags all the products I used if anyone is interested.
