Preventing sunburn is obviously sunscreen, as far as I know you can't really make it go away, it will fade naturally. If it hurts use aloe, it cools it so it makes it hurt less. Usually when you get sunburnt you peel, so make sure to use a lot of lotion.

If it's really bad soak a towel in some cold water, rung it out and then put it on the area. Moisturising is really important too. Put your aftersun in the fridge it will feel much nicer when you use it

Get tea bags and put them in hot water until the tea is almost black and then Dab it on the burn. Where lots of lotion, drink water, stay out of direct sun light, and put on lots of sunscreen next time.
