I was recently prescribed epiduo. I am applying it every night, it burns and my skin gets flaky, which are normal side effects. However, I noticed the parts where my skin peeled are lighter than the rest of my skin, what should I do? Is it normal?

Sorry I don't know what epiduo is? But I think the lighter parts is new skin because peeling!

I just started epiduo a little over a week ago but yes that is normal. after a mild sunburn when the skin starts to peel(sorry graphic?) its going to be lighter underneath since it hasnt been exposed to the sun. but make sure youre protecting your skin with an spf moisturizer. I put the epiduo on at night and barely go out before dusk. it didnt burn the first 3 days but now on day 9 its a constant dull burn. but I can see it already working so yay. did you start seeing a difference yet? oh also when I started my doctor had me do every other day to have my skin get used to it. so its been 3 days straight with it, if my face keeps burning I'm definitely going back to every other day. I don't want to damage my skin when I'm trying to fix it.
