What is a reasonable amount to spend for back to school clothes? And what stores are good? Thanks.

H&M has really cute stuff for really cheap!! My sister once got a t-shirt there for like $2 when it was on sale! Forever 21 is also pretty cheap ;) Hope that helps :)

Charlotte Russe has really cute, cheap clothes. Rue 21 usually has cheaper clothes as well but I find them made more cheaply. I guess you get what you pay for! I wouldn't spend over $100. Also, try thrift stores in your area or if you have a playto's closet nearby I recommend them!

Also check clearance racks at your favorite stores! You could find cheap tanks on clearance and spend the money you save on cute cardigans to go over them!

At least 100. You might need fresh undies, bras, tights, boots, at least two pairs of pants, 2 skirts, basic white shirt, two fun tops and maybe 1 day time dress. You should be able to mix and match the whole wardrobe and use a few old favorites with the new. Sign up for email updates to your favorite shops and look for a outlet center near by so you can get the best deal. And if you do not see what you want, then wait it out because new fall items will go on sale half way through the season and really cute new clothes will come that you may want. Also if it is on sale for a great price and you want it. Then buy it because it won't be sitting there when you get back. There is always another woman or girl watching what you pick up. Once an old woman took a sweater right out of my hands. I did not mind because it was large but this woman was watching everything I picked up.

I usually spent $200 just in the month before school starts depending on stores I could spend as little as $40-50 depending on the clothes or store but I also usually ad to my daughter clothes every month I look for sales like at kohls and sunny fashions, forever 21, shimmers,TJ maxx,Ross, marshalls,Hot topic, Charlotte Russ,D&D discount store which is also a sister store to Ross.we also have everything $5 dollars stores here were I get a bunch of cute tops for her.Never feel like you have to grab so much stuff right away stick to your budget and always try to grab pieces twice a month to add to your wardrobe you'll see in the end you'll always have some out fit to put together. :-)

When I was in school I spent between $300-$400. Yeah you can still wear jeans and stuff from the year before but you need to get new shirts jackets and deff shoes so yeah. I don't think $50 will get you anything these days but an outfit lol even from the cheap store

Clean up your closet first and get rid of everything you won't wear... then see what you need and buy clothes that will match the ones you already have... accesories can completely change an outfit and try getting things that fit you, don't buy what's "in" or fashionable... buy things you will wear and be able to combine with most of the clothes you already have... in terms of budget, try getting all your clothes on sale and buy good quality clothes, they last longer and it's a long term investment. Also since most stores sell pretty similar items, try to eyeshop all the stores you want to buy first and then get the items you want at the cheapest price. Hope it helped.

My mom used to take me with a $250 budget each year. But now that I have to pay for my own, I only spend probably $50. My favorite store for cheap cute clothes is Discovery Clothing Co.

It all depends on the income of your family or yourself.
It's usually a $30 budget for my family, for both me and my brother so we usually go to TJ-Maxx or thrift stores, or local consignment shops and shop there.
Like Mani said as well, Go through your closet and get rid of everything you don't wear, has rips, tears or stains, or is too small for you. Make old jeans that are too short (Show your ankles ) by cutting them into shorts for next year, if they aren't too tight.
Hope I could help.

Definitely check thrift stores first because I always find great deals there! And H&M is one of my favourite stores because they have TONS of stuff and most of it is fairly cheap. I usually spend around $100 for back to school but I like to shop at places were I get more bang for my buck 😊

If you have any clothes that you don't wear you can even make them into new clothes BY YOURSELF! Just look up youtube videos MUCH EASIER THEN IT LOOKS!
