I've heard a lot of hype about Sigma brushes. Say I get the essentials pack, is it really worth the investment of $120 dollars?

To me they are. Every one has different a opinion, but they are great brushes. I have them for my personal and my professional use. I would much rather spend the money on good brushes that will last a very long time with good care instead of cheap ones that shed and break
