Wanting to try a new foundation. I have an issue with cakeyness, and I have an oily t-zone and dry cheeks and patches on my forehead. Is this foundation good with oily skin?

I've tried many ways of applying, and I still end up cakey. I moisturize, mostly my cheeks, let it set, dot foundation on my skin and buff it in, and add more where I need it, then I let that set, and smooth it out with a flat top kabuki, and then I powder my face lightly with Mac Skinfinish. My mom is going to mac for me to pick up a few things that I need, which is why I wanna try a mac foundation. (: shiny-ness doesn't bother me all to much, as long as it doesn't look too..greasy looking. I just want something that will give me coverage without it vanishing through out the day. Which it tends to do mostly around my mouth area.
