I had to put my own together I could not find a good starter kit that's wasn't extremely expensive and not worth the money. I put together my own kit of a lot a research and products. Over time I spent about 1,000$ of all products I picked. Granted hardly any of my products are high end but they get the job done well and I never have any complaints. If you find a starter kit be careful but there is always good and bad products that one company makes. Not everything from one company will be really good. A good place for brushes is crown brushes. They have a website and are the same as all high end brushes minus the labels that say MAC or Sephora

I also have a lot of products I don't use often and could get by without. The best way is to make sure you have enough foundation and concealer for whatever skin tone comes by and the rest is pretty interchangeable with whoever you work on.
