I've tried both! I think it really depends on your skin type.

I usually have dry skin. The smashbox one made my skin reallyyyy dry. The porefessional one worked a lot better for me.

I have super oily skin! I've tried smash box, Laura mercier, Mac, givinchy, the list goes on...what I've done recently is get samples of he cover fx matte primer (works very well) and hourglass mineral veil. I think hourglass is my favorite! It doesn't affect my skin like a lot of makeup does due to the high sensitivity of my skin and I've drastically cut down my blotting throughout the day. I'd suggest getting some samples and then seeing which ones work the best for your skin.
