Careful with oral antiboditics it counter acts birth control. Try very cold water and a gentle face soap/ foam. Toner and topical treatment. It may be some trial and error but do tons of research for your skin type and read reviews. Good luck! I know I'm 21 and started this and I have been reassuring results

Honestly I've struggled with acne for years..and once I finally stopped "cleaning" my face with products..my acne finally went away fpr good..all I do is wash my face with cold water and a clean wash cloth.

Wash your face once a day an amazing product to use is nutrigina naturnals because it dosnt have a bunch of bad stuff in it like sulfates ext that can cause irritation and breakouts.

If you haven't already, you should google the "oil cleansing method" (OCM) I have watched many YouTube videos and reviews!! The results are amazing. Can't hurt to try..no harsh chemicals just natural products. I started today:) hope I have good results.

I had acne for 3 years and tried everything. Face washes, prescriptions from the doctors, masks, cutting out certain foods, using less products, etc. and nothing worked. I finally tried Oratane (a generic version of Accutane) and my skin is now clear! The side effects were intense at first but over time I learnt how to manage them, and I could not be happier! :)

I tried accutane in the past and while it cleared up my skin, it made my lips super dry and I couldn't handle that. I opted for doxycycline instead which my derm says is the second most effective, and it has kept my skin under control in recent years without any major side effects. :)

Maybe you need to not eat seafood (or something contains too much oil), washing your face after outdoor works and applying routine skincare (like toner, serum etc)?

It can be your makeup breaking you out. I have very sensitive skin and I had to switch a few times between my foundations because they would make me break out. There was a time where I broke out pretty bad, I bought a acne face wash as well as a morning cleanser. They were both from clean & clear and they work amazing! Wash my face twice a day I use the morning cleanser when I wake up & my acne face wash at night. I also use green tea make up remover wipes which helped a lot.

I used to have severe acne for years and years and oddly enough what helped mine was proactive! You can order it on tv but I think now they sell it in stores. I'm not sure if they sell it where you're from but if they do you should check it out! It was a life saver :)

I'm glad it helped! I have really sensitive skin, too, but since it's a pill it doesn't really irritate your skin. My skin was very dry the first 2 weeks until I switched to the Cetaphil DailyAdvance Ultra Hydrating lotion. I now use aqueous cream and it works great too.
Taking Oratane was the best decision I could've made. I was just sick and tired of having acne, and I could not be happier with the results.

P.S. visit more than one doctor/dermatologist - everyone, even the professionals, have different ideas on the best way to treat acne. It's always good to get a second (or third or fourth) opinion.

I agree with Lizzy on getting a second opinion. Although I didn't have acne I have eczema and after being frustrated with my initial dermatologist (who barely saw me for 5 minutes and kept dismissing my concerns saying it was normal!) I went to another dermatologist who prescribed me steroids and cleared up my facial eczema in no time. Good luck! And as someone mentioned above, don't worry, it's only a temporary thing and probably a phase your body is going through 😄

It seems like you've changed your eating habits and are eating healthier. Changing your eating habits can cause acne in the beginning. I think all the medicine, chemicals, etc. aren't going to permanently solve the problem. Acne is mostly due to all the hormones that are out in our fruit and veggies so they grow all year long. Try a paleo diet since it seems similar to what you're already eating. Stress less, and let your skin breathe and take a break from products that you feel may clog your pores. Tone and moisturize daily. The biggest mistake I made was not moisturizing thinking that it would make my skin oilier, when in fact it helped clear my acne! Good Luck with your skin, hopefully it'll fix up soon. :)

Organic apple cider vinegar is great as a spot treatment and toner. And Bio-Oil works well as a moisturizer for acne.

I've been using Cerave cleanser for two years now and figured out that my acne problem was from over drying my skin
