What do you think? Does it work or is it totally the wrong colour for me?

Your beautiful but in my opinion the blue is a bit loud. You have amazing eyes and the shadow distracts from them. :)

Thanks Ladies. I usually wear more browns and golds, but thought I'd try some colours to match my blue eyes.

I think more of a navy would be a better type of blue for you if you're wearing it over the entire lid like you are. A navy smokey eye would be much nicer :) but the blue you have on there could be great along the lower lash line with neutral eye makeup on top, it looks like its a good colour for your eyes, it makes them look lovely and blue but I think that shade of blue is a really hard colour to pull off for the whole eye.

I love whatever you have on your cheeks though, they look glowing and lovely!

I like the color I think it's more of the placement it's to close to your inner corner's of your eyes towards your nose.May I suggest just having the blue set on the middle of your lid and a hint lower then add a darker charcoal to black or even a deep plum mixed at the outer end corners faded into your crease half way or use the blue as liner above your lash or below.Blue can work it's the placement that works best to enhance your beautiful eyes :-) here are some pic's I found that might help.

I think that blue would look better with a darker color.

No. It's too loud. Maybe more blending will help. Or just a little less blue...blended with a neutral color.

You are wearing cool colors when you are most assuredly a warm tone chic. Your lips should be a warmer color, try fig or raisin. And blue does not suit your skin or eyes, but if you are married to the idea, make a long eyeliner into a cat eye or kitten flick, and then press the color in the liner, giving a pop of color, rather than a splat. I suggest using a mid tone (A matte tint in your skin color or a shade darker) on and slightly above your crease using a tapered crease brush to help push back your brow a bit. And don't forget to blend! <3.
