Hello lovlies,
What kind of lighting do you apply your makeup in? Incandescent or florescent? And does the lighting really make a crucial difference in makeup application?
I have incandescent lights in my bathroom and florescent lights in my room. During daytime, I do my makeup in natural light however, at night, I do my makeup in the bathroom.

Mainly natural light. If I have to apply it at night, I do so in my bathroom, under compact fluorescent light.

I do my face makeup in my bathroom with all natural lighting. I go back to my room and do everything else and just go back to natural lighting to check if my eyeshadow is blended well.

I am fortunate enough to be putting in a "vanity area" for applying my makeup and doing my hair. Since I'm still designing I can install whatever lighting is best. I am not a model or take professional photos, this is for my everyday life (but I take looking 'polished' seriously). I've had a hard time in my last make up area doing my hair after sundown. cannot position any of my lamps so that I can actually *see* what I am doing. ~ (Living on the edge!).
I have the opportunity to put in overhead lighting, or whatever else might be helpful for me to get a natural look and also see my hair. Daytime is not a problem as I will put the vanity desk in front of a large window.
