@Melissa no you don't if you start to early it will ruin your skin and beautiful face. Maybe you could start using BB creme if you have scars and blemishes. BB feels light on your face and had good coverage :)

I'm 19 and the ONLY makeup I wear is lipstick or tinted lip balm sometimes, but on special occasions I wear eye shadow, mascara, and a little blush :)

I first started wearing makeup when I was about 9, but it was for stage performances. Being so pale, I looked really washed out under stage lights so my mom would apply a little blush and a little lipstick just so I didn't look dead. It was ONLY for stage. At the time I honestly didn't even like makeup and didn't care much about wearing it. It wasn't until middle school when I started breaking out a little that I even cared much. My mom let me spend my own money on a Covergirl powder compact (didn't we all have one of these at one point??). I experimented with makeup every once and a while - an eyeliner here, a lipstick there...but I was OBSESSED with nail polish in middle school.
I didn't really start wearing a full face on a regular basis until after high school. In HS and afterward I'd just wear eye shadows and gloss - not even mascara. eep.

A light eyeshadow in the 2nd semester of 7th grade. Then in 8th grade I dropped the eyeshadow and used mascara, a bit of eyeliner, and concealer.

Technically, I started at the age of 11 after I shaved my brows off then blamed it on my brother. 15 is the age I reslly took it in but it was just mascara. 18 is when I got more serious with it.
