I have been watching a lot of LA Ink on Netflix, and was inspired when in one episode Kat Von D was wearing a purple smokey eye on her right eye, and black smokey on the other. I decided to take it a step further and do different colors on both eyes.. what do you think? I use a black base and pack brightly colored shadows on top for a subtle look. I think it's eye catching, and my boyfriend actually loves it.

As long as it's not in a way that looks like you just accidentally grabbed the wrong color for an eye, I think it can look pretty cool.

Yours looks great! I think people have to be careful of the colours they chose because I noticed that with Kat, the eye with the darker colour (black) always looked more deep set than the eye with the lighter colour (purple). So choosing colours with a similar depth would work probably best, like you did.
