I am subscribed to both. I just got my iPad bag and its great. I hear you get a lot of full sized products too. And on the website you can upload videos, watch videos, and talk to other ipsters. I didn't get two things in my glam bag that I wanted so I traded with a couple of other girls. I don't think there is a way to communicate with ppl that do birchbox. Also birchbox is more sample size stuff and more perfume. If you are going to pick one I'd say ipsy.

I get ipsy, I love it. I've gotten 4 bags and love them all, and cancelled my birchbox after four months of blah... Ipsy for sure!

Here is my glam bag! Love it! I did give the lip crayon away because I can't pull off pale pinks, but it was totally worth the $10 and the month I spent on the wait list! I canceled my birchbox after getting a second box of stuff I didn't like.
