I've had ten total piercings and my belly button was by far the most painful. of course that was just my experience. You might not even feel it. I say if you want it, get it.

Okay so if you have dark skin (latin) or olive colored skin (Mediterranean) there is a very large possibility that you could get a scar. I'm not really for navel piercing, but I'd suggest researching (intensely!) them before making your desicion.

I've had mine for a couple years now. but I kinda regret getting mine before having kids. My daughter gave me a lot of stretch marks and also I wad told to leave my belly ring for some reason and it stretched my belly button so it looks bad now :(

When the needle was pushed through I thought the guy had just pinched my skin. then the jewelry went through and that was pretty intense pain, but as soon as it's done being pushed through all you feel is maybe a slight sting. no biggy and totally worth it.
