I've tried almost everything friend family and YouTube lol has recommended me. But I highly recommend you go to a dermatologist, a doctor will know actually what you should use for your exact skin type. A lot of these drug store or high end products will just waste your money. But that's just my advice, dear 😊

No matter what you use or what your routine is, CONSISTENCY is key! As long as you do the same thing everyday, your skin will get better, assuming you are using products that you know work for your skin. I know for me, if I change my routine, skip a step, don't wash my face, etc. I WILL breakout. Eventually, you will learn how your skin reacts to certain things, and you can accommodate, but you just have to do the same routine. And if you change your routine, give at least two weeks for your skin to adjust to know if it works for you.
