Primer Question..Hard candy.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried hard candy primer? I want to try using it but don't want to spend a lot if I don't like it...or what other drug store primer is good?
I have combination skin...thought its been oily lately (stupid summer and being in a heatwave)

I've tried it and I have combo skin as well. I actually liked it when I tried it the first time, but found that it caused me to get pimples- and I haven't had bad acne for 3 years, so it shocked me. I tried it out for another week or so and just really didn't care for it. It didn't last as long as I thought it would on my face..
I actually really like milk of magnesia as a primer, revlon photo ready primer, and loreals magic primer (the pinkish one in a jar). Those are the ones I like the most :)
