To a certain point maybe just a little concealer and chapstick but not like eyeshadow and eyeliner.

A face is a canvas...regardless of gender. Whether it be just concealer or full on drag makeup...work that thang!

Why not, if thats what they want. And more men wear makeup than people realize, when you watch the news, those guys have makeup on, like some mentioned about the runway earlier, in movies that have makeup on sometimes (if not most). and if they want it to be more noticeable like what you tend to see with goth guys, let them, if they want it to be more womanly like a drag queen, let them. Drag queens are awesome, my friends dad is one. If thats what they like and want they should be able to, wearing makeup doesn't make a male any less of a man, and it doesn't make them a bad person. Anyone that wants to wear makeup should be able to. Those people that said no are narrow minded, and I bet you wouldn't like being told you can't do something do to your gender. And how about you go a week without wearing any makeup, makeup that you obviously enjoy and like to have cover up you imperfections, and go out several times that week. I think people should be comfortable going out without makeup, but I guarantee most of you saying no to guys don't like to go out without it or highly prefer not to.

Yeah, I don't see a problem with it. It's a sad double standard we have. Wanting to clean up your look, or create a lovely face complete with eyeshadow, lipstick, etc.shouldn't be frowned upon. it is just makeup afterall. :)

@Lola, if your husband decided the wear women thing it woudn't make you bi/lesbian, and so what if it did? ANd it doesn't make him bi either. ANd if he asked you to do "gay things" in bed that doesn't mean he is doing stuff with men, it just means he has interest in it, and honestly there are a lot of STRAIGHT men out there that are curious in those acts also. I know straight guys that have their girlfriends use strap ons. ANd if he was gay/bi/or liked wearing makeup it wouldn't mean he was half of a woman. You are way to narrow minded, and that is one of the big problems with america. People just need to let people be who they are, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. And if he wanted that and you had a problem with it then honestly you wouldn't deserve him. When you love someone you are understanding and accepting of who they are, if something like that would make you not want to be with him anymore you might want to question your marriage.

There is no problem with it, I was in ulta the other day with some man- eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, you name it! And he was totally rocking it besides I don't think it's our choice do decide how someone dresses and such, it's theirs!

If they want to look good, then why not? Gender roles, in my opinion, are sometimes silly. If I were dating a guy who needed some concealer to cover up blemishes and mascara because he wanted to, I wouldnt care. :-)

I think some men look quite hot in eyeliner. Of course, I'm more prone to Kpop stars, like Bigbang, 2pm, SHINee...and the fact that some of my friends wear them as well. I don't think that it's feminine at all. I mean, Johnny Depp wore some in Pirates of the Carribean, and lots of women said that he look hot as Captain Jack Sparrow...

Haha, Lauren, yes. I am glad someone appreciated what I said.

Why not? uff cut the myths now, if you want you look good, the why not your man? he can do basic make up regularly to look fresh, this will give confidence and smoothness, but when you are not a rockstar then don't go for black eye shadow or guyliner.

I'm a big fan of guyliner, I find it sexy. Why shouldn't men be wearing makeup? I wish more would. What is wrong with men being feminine? That is the sort of mindset that leads to homophobia and transphobia, as if there is something fundamentally wrong about men who are in touch with their feminine side or vice versa. People who are critical of stuff like that must be prejudiced about other cultures where men traditionally wear more makeup than women. This is 2013, we should be over that kind of closed-minded sexist thinking. Embrace diversity and inclusiveness!

I don't know why make up is so geared towards women only. Make up on guys is not a big deal.

Make up is used to fix, cover, highlight or change an aspect of ones face..not only women find themselves with slight deficiancies, therefore I say that no female should deprive men of the chance to look and feel better.

My bf asked me to put makeup on his neck when I gave him a hicky. Lolz. other then that just sum ChapStick is fine. I'd love if my bf wore guy liner. (which is never going to happen) but anything else I wouldn't really be fan of.

I don't see what the big deal is, men wear make up all the time. All those great looking guys on t.v with the perfectly red lips and long eyelashes, that's all makeup. Make up is used as to conceal blemishes and enhance natural beauty. If a man feels the need for it then fine. A little guy-liner never hurt anybody.

We shouldn't be the ones to decide. Anyone can wear make up if they choose to. (plus, guys that wear make up usually look better than most girls aha)
My boyfriend will let me paint a nail, but be won't let me do his face... :(
