Try talking to the high up people like at stores like Ulta, and stuff. Can't hurt to try

The main thing you want to do is practice. Build up your talent. Even if it's just on yourself or friends and family. Take photos of your work and create a portfolio.

It will start slow, don't be discouraged. Right now I'm self-taught, working freelance, trying to get the money together to become licensed. I just kind of fell into it, buying makeup any chance I get, and then playing with it and testing myself to see what I can do.
