Personally, I do. I think that the primer helps act as a base and helps keep it on longer! :)

I use Tarte's smooth operator tinted moisturizer with a Smashbox primer underneath. :) I haven't experimented with different tinted moisturizers, but I suggest you do your research before buying anything. With the Tarte one I have to use a powder on top otherwise I get my makeup all over the place!

If you do choose to prime your face do that first always. definition of primer is to prep everything whether it be actually painting or your eye makeup or your face.
