I tried applying falsies for the first time today, and each time I tried, the strip would be on my lid! I tried for like an hour..so frustrating! :(

Girl it definitely isn't. It took me forever to be able to apply the whole strips. I would say start off with the ones for the outer corner and once you've mastered that go I'm to the full strip. I can do each one in less than one minute and before I had to wipe off all my eyeshadow when the glue would get all over it so I have hope that you'll get the hang of it. Practice makes perfect!
