I Need Lipstick Tips?!

Sometimes my lipstick will go on weirdly. It looks incredibly thick and the color is uneven. It's not always, so maybe my lips could be in bad condition? I use chapstick every day and use a toothbrush to get off the flakey skin every day or so. So I'm not sure?

Maybe try a different brand of lipstick.

I've had the same thing happen to me before, you have to make sure to get rid of the dead skin off your lips, so drink more water and use lots of lip balm, and before you put on your lipstick put on some Chapstick it's less noticeable or maybe use a subtle lipgloss instead of lipstick

Try to mix a little lipstick with vaseline on your hand, then apply

I have the same problem and I do really bold lips... I apply my mint babylips, line my lips, fill the lips in with the liner, blot on the lipstick color, then "kiss a tissue" two times... I get a very even and nice consistency by doing this... Of course you should also continue to do what your doing and drink lots and lots of water.
