My Starter kit contained : eyeshadows: cork, expresso, naked lunch good over all eye color great for inner corner, soft brown an amazing color to blend creases. Swiss chocolate which is an alternative for expresso. And lastly carbon! Face: if you have dry skin I would definitely recommend sculpted face foundation it's a gel base fountain and works well, also the Mac Pro long wear concealer is amazing, higher: soft and gentle. Eye primer which is a must if you want your eye shadow to stay: painterly if you have a pinkish or slight yellow tint, or soft occur for yellow tinted skin. And lastly Macs fix plus water! Hope this helped

I agree with alissia I own 2 mac foundations and both were such a let down. I'd say lipstick and mineral skin finish.

Here's what I recommend:
Mac Prolongwear Concealer
Mac Shadow in "Soft Brown" (great for the crease)
Mac MatchMaster Foundation (Mainly for oily skin. Has a matching technology and has 1.2 fluid ounces. 1.0 fluid is the usual for a foundation)
Mac Brow Pencil in "Spiked" or "Teddy"
Mac Paintpot in "Painterly" or "Bare Study"
Mac Shadow in "All That Glitters"
Any Mineralize Skinfinish. (They have lots of benefits for skin.)
And also try Fix+
Hope this helped!

If you have oily /sensitive skin, I wouldnt recommend their foundation as it irritates the skin and make it worse but up to you and what you think is best
