I have oily skin and my makeup doesn't stay on long. I want to invest in a primer and a setting spray. Any suggestions? Thank you. :)

I have extremely oily skin too! I've used milk of magnesia-which helps; however I don't use it every day because I read somewhere (I don't remember where or if it's true) that milk of magnesia on the skin can eventually make your skin produce more oil. Anyhow, I've tried to stray from that method just to see if my skin calms down a bit with the oil production. I recently got a sample of Hourglass mineral veil from sephora; I'm super impressed! I still have to blot a bit, but definitely not as much as I used to. Tarte primer is also really awesome for oily skin, especially when paired with their setting powder. Sorry for rambling, but I hope this helps!

I also have oily skin. I love smashbox oil free primer. I use it with nars tinted moisturizer and translucent setting powder. Keeps me from getting shiny pretty much all day, but of course I have blotting papers on hand just in case!

Hey Lety A- I suggested to someone here last that Black Radiance has a primer that controls oil and shine that's pretty great. I've been using it for some time now. But for a high end Lynzie B. is right Smashbox IS awesome and gives you a flawless look!
