Be you and only you maybe keep up with some trends but have your own style keep on your studies and don't give up out work because anythings else because there will be a lot and stay away from the bad crowd there will be peer pressure but don't give in and if you find a guy make sure he's the right one because most high school guys are just looking for a hit it and quick it. Hope that helps

Be your self, know who. Don't be afraid to meet new people but remember who your real friends are and stay close with them. Do
Good in school it matters in the end. It will
all be worth it. Stay true to yourself when it comes to guys. Have fun! But remeber to have limits, values, and that you'll always try to hold your self accountable for. Your style will be probably evolve and evolve as you get through each year/grade so stay beautiful and always be you :)

Don't be afraid to not care what people think. when I started my freshman year last year I cared what people thought about me so much and by the end of the year I didnt care. I mean, what's the point? and don't be afraid to speak your own mind.

Be yourself. Join a sport. Best decision I've made so far :)

Join a sport or club so you get to know people. Don't leave homework/projects till the last minute, you will seriously be screwed. I speak from experience. Be yourself, don't let mean girls get to you. Be confident too! Everyone notices :) not saying you should go vandalize your school, but last year at mine there was a stall in one of the girls bathrooms that people would just write inspirational things on. It was really cool:) also don't be like me and wear sweats and yoga pants and crewnecks for the last two months of school just to get more sleep or whatevs:) I seriously dressed like a bum.
Anyway, enjoy yourself at high school! So much better than middle school, trust me. More fun, more friends, more freedom.

Become your own person & don't get into those nasty cliques! Gross! Do your own thing, DO YOUR SCHOOL WORK, and work hard! I can't stress doing your work enough.

This might sound blunt, but don't be afraid to fuck up like crazy. Freshman year is the time to make mistakes, get lost in the new atmosphere, get lured into a bad set of groups, get your heart crushed, and get a taste of responsibility. In other words? You'll probably fuck up. But the years get better, and high school is a journey.

And I don't mean to be negative! It's a year often full of "firsts". And keep your mind on school as much as you can. Senior years comes before you know it, and colleges DO look at your grades and curricular freshman year.

Be kind to everyone. That's the biggest thing. Unless they're being a total dick to you, then stand up for yourself! There's a fine line between being sweet and being a pushover.
Explore the things that give you joy.
Don't feel pressured to join anything. I haven't and I'm totally glad I didn't because I can't stand the people here. (Okay, I love my friends, but the rest of them can get jabbed in the trachea with an orange peel.)
Focus on your studies, and go to teachers in your free time if you have any questions, even about homework! You'll be surprised at how willing they are to help if you put in some effort too.
That brings me to my next point- RESPECT YOUR TEACHERS. Honestly, so many idiots here have been so rude to the teachers here. It's not "cool" to treat anyone like shit, especially someone who is going to further you in your education. In the end the jokes kind of on them, because when they go begging to those teachers for a good recommendation for college they won't get a very positive one.
Wear and do whatever it is that makes you happy. I wear some dramatic looks to school, and even though I get told I wear "too much makeup" I also get plenty of compliments. I've even done other peoples makeup, which I LOVE to do! I also wear huge spiked heels, and I get compliments on those all the time! My point is, don't be afraid to be yourself. People can tell if you're being genuine or not.
Don't be afraid to talk to people you trust if you're feeling down. If something is bothering you, let it out! The more you bottle it up the more you're hurting yourself.
Bring your own lunch. That's self explanatory. Unless your school has great meals I would just bring lunch.
Bring a phone charger! I can't tell you how many times this has saved me. By saved me I mean saved me from boredom when I was allowed to listen to music in class.
Remember- it's only 4 years. Live your life to the fullest and don't be afraid to do things that make you happy. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do, and you should do the things you want to do- even if it's just once. I hope you have a great high school experience. :)

Being a freshman isn't as bad as you think, but you have to be aware of certain things. Like older boys, don't let them fool you. If you are in to a boy, make sure that they like you for the right reasons. Never fall into a guys trap.
Education is SOOOO important in high school. You have to realize that the work is not like middle school. You will have to study more, and make sure you get everything in on time. This is when grades really start to count.
Fashion and Beauty... Just be your self! Be confident and rock your favorite styles. If you are pleased with your self other people will be too!
Lastly have fun! Play sports, join clubs, and be involved! Freshman year will go by so fast!
