To fill them in you could use eyeshadow, or a eyebrow pencil

Okay, brows are kind of my obsession. Here is my advice to you.
I start out shaping my eyebrows by tweezing them. My eyebrows were shaped similar to yours at one point but I have trained them to look different. Give yourself an arch. Either use a stencil or a photo to copy. Pick where your natural arch is and start shaping!
Once you have tweezed to your liking, start off light. You have to learn to train your brows to do what they want.
Honestly, another step I would take is to walk into Sephora and let them know you're interested in shaping and filling your brows. They will most likely lead you to Anastasia brand cosmetics. Ask a lot of questions and they will help you, as well! Sorry this was all over the place but I find tweezing your brows to your liking is the number one step to get the brows you want! (:

You can also get stencils at Walmart if that helps. I've never bought them because I kind of learned on my own how to shape eyebrows doing eyebrow waxing in cosmetology school.

But what I would do is first get them waxed and shaped in a salon. They should go back over them and tweeze them to get anything they missed with wax. And from there you can just keep it up at home and fill them in with brow powder. And I know what you mean about it looking fake. It only looks that way because you're not used to it.

Using an eyebrow razor is the most painless and most effective way!! Kandee Johnson has a great tutorial on this on YouTube!! I've tried plucking, waxing, and threading! An eyebrow razor is the best way to go!
