Apply alcohol at least once or twice a day... Try not to mess with it because the more you mess with it the longer it will stay.

I've been doing baking soda scrubs on my face and my blackheads are way less noticeable now!

I open my pores with a washcloth and warm water and then gentle sqeeze them with that washcloth. After this I apply a apple cider vinegar/ water toner and there gone for at least a week.

Baking soda scrubs are great for exfoliation. I usually mix some baking soda with water and a smidge of rubbing alcohol (it works better for me), and then I do my usual acne regimen. My pores are noticeably smaller, and my acne and scarring is nearly gone.

Also, when I'm in the process of exfoliating I rinse with warm water to help open up my pores, and then when I'm finishing up my routine I rinse my face with cold water to help close my pores back up.

Another at home facial scrub type thing you could use is a gelatin mask. You can buy powdered gelatin packets at grocery stores. You only need about half a packet for one mask, mix it in with enough milk to make a creamy consistency. ( Be warned - it will smell! Like really bad, but the smell goes away as soon as you take the mask off) Apply the cream with your fingers to your entire skin in thick layers and let dry. Once the mask is COMPLETLEY dried, peel it off - don't wash. The peeling will also remove dead skin, blackheads, white heads and help make your skin tone more even! After all the mask is off (throw in trash, not sink) you can wash your skin with a mild cleanser, or just warm water. It works great for my oily, clogged, icky skin :) Also I would make sure that you don't get any of the mask on your eye brows, as it can be painful peeling it off once it's dry!

Hi I'm a cosmetologist! first off rubbing alcohol is terrible for your skin- do not use it! there are a lot of different exfoliaters out there, I personally use the neutrogena mask/exfoliater for black heads or a mixture of cold cream and baking soda. the important thing is to use something to open your pores like warm water or a cold cream, remove the black heads like with an exfoliating product or the baking soda and then use a toner to close the pores up and finish with a moisturizer.
