I was wondering if this was good or bad for your hair?

If you're using drug store fragranced hair shampoo and conditioner then it can damage your hair and dry out your scalp if you're constantly changing them

I heard it was good to change it but I'm not for sure on that.

If you're using good quality shampoos and conditioners like toni&guy,REDKEN,Paul Mitchell and so on you don't need to.

Yes it is good, because after awhile your hair gets used to the same product thats being applied. So therefore the shampoo/conditioner youre using won't have the same effect as the first time you used it.
