Purse or Mini Duffle for trip?

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a little help or suggestions on where to find a purse, tote or mini duffle for a cruise I'm going on soon. I'm taking a train up the departure location. I just am looking for something to put my makeup bag, books, and other purse related items. I would like it to be medium or large size, just not too big. I do need a new purse, but I'm so picky and the only thing I really might get is the London Fog Frame Satchel purse in Ruby Ostriche from QVC. I also found a mini duffle bag from victoria's secret that I thought would be a good idea for the trip too. I'm just not sure. What do you guys think? Any ideas, suggestions on new places to get purse, totes or mini duffles. I also am taking a luggage bag that I already have, so I'll be putting clothes, and everything else in that luggage bag. Thanks!

I think the first one is great for everyday use, but I think the second one is fantastic for trips or school. I love the color of the second one, too. Hope this helped!
