What kind of conditioner do you use?? Trying to grow mine but it's hard not using straighteners and hair dryer!

Just normal conditioner and when I wash it out I brush through it with the water flow. Baby shampoo and lee Stafford products :) also I have been tying my hair a lot. Of you must straighten it do it with a brush run through first

I heard from a beauty guru on YouTube not to get trims because if you get them they will just stay the length that it is after the trim.
