Use a makeup sponge! Under "ombre nail tutorial" on YouTube you should be able to find a tutorial :)

Hey! I use an make up sponge and nail polish ( the most pigmented are the bests)! You can use the lighter color as a base and use the sponge to blend the other color ( if you are using 2 nail polishes) or after applying the base color make stripes with the other colors on the sponge and aply it on your nails! And ALWAYS wait the base color dry! - I don't know if this is a good explanation but... I tried haha sorry for any English mistake!

You need a sponge and 2 or more nail polishes in different colors on your choice.from there, you can do this on two ways :you can either put collors next to eachother directly on sponge, and than simply press the sponge on your nail.or,you can first put a little bit of color on a paper/container and first blend one with sponge, and than the other right next, just stacking them individually.it is recommended to first aply a basecoat in any collor you like.good luck!
