I never wear make up. I'm not even sure if BB cream counts as make up. I'm pretty clueless in this whole subject. I only ever wear that, and mascara. Anyway, all I do is use one of those sponges and like dab it on and smooth it in. And try to make it as even as possible. Is it possible or easy to go overboard and look orange or too dark?? And how would I know?

No. Your BB Cream won't make you look too dark or too orange unless you get the wrong shade. BB Cream should blend right in with your skin tone & has a.light coverage.. Its just.to even.out skin tone and blur tiny imperfections like dark circles.

You really can't go "too overboard" if you have BB cream in the color of your skin. If you got a color that is too dark or too light, you'd notice. But you really can't go overboard on the BB cream :)
