Drink lots of water and use lemon and brown sugar to scrub your face. Moisturizer your face of course. I also recommend you do face sheet mask with green tea.

Get plenty of vitamins A and C, and cut back (or cut out completely) processed foods. Your skin is an organ and is just as affected by your diet as any other organ in your body. Healthy foods = healthy skin! :-)

I had the same problem and in the last month I made a few changes which have made a dramatic and noticeable improvement without expensive products/treatments.
1. The most important thing, I used to be terrible with my sleeping pattern as a student. However in the last month I've made it a rule to go to bed by 11. I still get the same hours of sleep as before when I'd go to sleep at 1am+ but I avoid that destructive effect of tiredness on the skin that kicks in after hours. This has made a massive improvement, my skin looks so healthy and nourished. It took about 4 weeks for you to really notice the change.
2. Avocado a day - I literally wake up with an amazing glow to my skin if I eat one the night before. Google this!
3. Diet changes - I've cut down majorly on processed foods and have simplified by diet along Chinese/Japanese diet basics (noodles, lots of fresh fruit and veg, green tea, fish). Just generally trying to eat clean. This has definitely made a dramatic difference to my skin tone which is more even now since I started these changes a month ago.
4. Lots and lots of green tea!! Google green tea skin benefits. I definitely saw that about 3 days of drinking 2 cups green tea per day my skin looked more dewy and healthy and even toned.
5. Water of course! No explanation necessary ;)
It's been a month since these changes and it definitely takes hard work and discipline and lots of slip ups and giving in, but I just kept trying and It's starting to become second nature. My skin has never looked better and the best part is the improvements are still a work in progress and will only get better! :)

Here are some tips to which helps to make your skin healthy and brighter.
• A combination of lemon juice, tomato juice and cucumber juice mixed in sandalwood powder serves as an excellent natural treatment for Dark Skin.
• Make a paste of dried and powdered orange peels and milk. Regularly applying this natural bleach for about 20 to 25 minutes per day is one of the most widely used natural home remedies for Dark Skin. Simply applying orange or tangerine juice is also beneficial.
• Take half a teaspoon of olive oil, half a teaspoon of milk, one teaspoon of gram flour, a few drops of lime juice and about a pinch of turmeric powder. Mix these ingredients and apply the mixture for about 30 minutes. This is an effective therapeutic home remedy to lighten Dark Skin naturally.
• Add four tablespoons of buttermilk in two teaspoons of tomato juice and apply on the skin. Regular use of this home remedy is valuable in Dark Skin treatment.
