Help with dark circles. orange primer?

Hi folks, I'm really new here, and could use some advice. I've lived with dark under eye circles and bags all my life, and can't seem to find a good cover up. I read something on here about using an orange primer to cancel out the blue bruised color, but I'm not real sure where to go from there, or what to be looking for. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I saw a YouTube video that showed the lady mixing orange lipstick -matte - to the foundation. I tried and it works. Just a little orange.
