What ombre should I get? (PICS)

The last time I dyed my roots, was six months ago and now they start look pretty horrible. I'm probably going to dye my roots with a light brown color but the question is: should a put an ashy or golden toned light brown or something else?

I don't want to dye them any darker, because I'm actually trying to get a color that's close to my own natural color (which is very light golden brown, almost blonde).

Here's a picture of my hair, the ends aren't that dark, they're medium brown but the lighting is just a little bit different in photos.

So would it look like a nice ombré-style if I dye my roots lighter than the ends? =) What do you think?
