On top of the tips above get a soft bristled brush and brush your scalp, (or massage) to help blood circulation, the brush will also help if you have anything built up on the scalp

Eat fish and proteins. Keep your hair regularly trimmed and don't style or suffocate it with product and dye. Also UVA and UVB rays do a number on your hair and scalp. Also maybe go to your doctor, you may have a thyroid or serious health problem. In 6 months I would have at least 4 inch growth at minimum. No growth is a sign something more serious could be wrong. Vitamins A, B complex, E and folic acid. Go to any drug store or health food store. Also consider instead taking a prenatal supplement. They have extras of all those and will do wonders for your skin, nails and hair. Oh ya avoid washing your hair with hot hot water and don't brush it while its wet. Wide tooth Comb only. This will break and damage it. Hope this helps and best of luck.
