Getting A Trim

I think my hair is damaged/split ends and I was going to get a trim. I was wondering about how much they would cut because I don't want it to be super short but its bothering me. Also if I was to dye me hair should I dye it before or after.

Its hard to tell how much is split, but its best to follow your hairdressers advice because if some of the split ends are left they will keep splitting. It sucks but your hair will grow out much more healthy.

If you are coloring it do it first then see how the ends are. Then you can estimate how much needs to come off. From being platinum to another color you're going to need to do a deep conditioning treatment. Speaking from experience. Good luck post pics ")

I trim my hair each month at home, I do it after taking a shower, each month I remove a small amount and by time you will get healthy hair.
