Stick foundation HELP!🚨

I have been using a stick foundation and it just seems really hard to move around my skin.and my primer is oil reducing so it doesn't let any of the moistness from the olay face cream I use come through. I plan on buying a moisturizer spray but in the mean time what can I use. And is a little spritz of water a good idea.
