Don't touch it or apply make up to it for a few hours, you are probably irritating the skin. It's best to apply a cool cloth over the area to help soothe it and close the pores. If touching the area is necessary make sure to wash your hands first and don't try to cover the redness with make up it can clog your pores and cause breakouts

It helped a little. I didn't get quite so many bumps

I thread as well and now and then also break out., I apply an aloe lotion and the redness goes away in a few hours.

@Eden yup it sure has! I never get irritated skin after waxing or plucking. it burns for a little bit but nothing major.
