Any ideas about a cut or color?
I don't even know what my face shape is..round perhaps? I rarely go to a stylist because of self-confidence issues but I really want to make improvements.

I am a cosmetologist and youre adorable! Is this pic taken from eye level? And were you sitting up straight or was your chin tuched in a bit?
I ask bc to give you the best advice I need to know if this is an acurate pic of what you look like in person.

If this pic is accurate you have an oval face...all hairstyles are open to you. Depending how much of change you are going...bangs, layers, short hair cuts, ect. For color, I love your color so I would just do some highlights maybe...though a deep red may look good (I' am not a pro...just guessing)

I agree with bangs and I think you need to chop that hair to mid neck level or add more layering in the front. go to a stylist, they are going to give you the best and most accurate advice, but without putting you down. its our jod to make you feel beautiful so if you don't feel confident after their consultation walk out- its your hair and your money they need to earn it.

You are hot! I say highlights, nice lip, nice brows, and more confidence!

Thank you Dina :) I think this pic is quite accurate however my head may be slightly tilted.
I would never have guessed my shape is more oval, it's so difficult.
I greatly appreciate the advice and will definitely pass it on to my stylist :)
By bangs do you mean straight across or more flowy to one of the sides?

I don't think you have to do a thing. I think you look great and I love your hair!! seeing Your hair makes me wish I never shaved my head lol.I miss my long hair. and you have the biggest eyes, beautiful!

Either kind of bang wold be good, that's up to you. Hair is about making you feel good so go with what would make you feel pretty, a bold bang like Betty Paige's would bring the focus to your eyes and face but can make the face feel rounder so I'd recommend having all your layers start an inch below your chin to elongate the face and counter balance the bangs. Side swept bangs also give a sexiness and go great with hair styles with higher layering. Like those forward bob cuts that are longer in the front and shorter in the back.
Your face isn't a classic oval but the best thing about getting the right cut is tricking the eye into thinking your face is the 'ideal' shape.
My theory about life though is to just do what makes you happy. If that means shaving your head bald- then do it. Feeling good about yourself is the best accessory and never goes out of style.
