What is a good flat iron brand that will do the least damage? Is a titanium or ceramic flat iron better for the hair?

Cermamic is more gentle on your hair! make sure you use a good heat protectant and don't continously go over the same section a bunch of times, its better to go over a section once and use a heat resistant comb in front of the straightener! I use a solano flat iron at the salon and a chi at home. and also make sure it has heat settings that say the temperature so you don't have it too hot!

Ceramic Silk by Jheri Redding. I've had it for 5 years and it still works good as new. And its not that expensive compared to some of the other brands. DO NOT buy one at the kiosks in the mall. Those things are expensive and cheap quality. They break not worth buying!
