Love peter pan blouses and dresses I like that some trends are of the 50s or older since I'm really into the fashion and music of that time. Don't get mustaches at all!!

Crocs were the most disgusting invention ever! Those and peep toe boots, what's the point?

People specifically hating a trend trend or subculture. If someone likes a certain "trend", then go for it. As long as you're happy everyone should be happy for you! :) Vintage Pinup/Cyber Goth are my current favorite styles! Vintage is more trendy now, I think?

I agree with hating the Scene and moustache trends. I'm not sure if its a trend as such right now but, I love patterned suits when they're in trend. I love the "skater" skirt trend too.

I'm loving the Shabby Chic style that's coming back. But totally hate when girls wear leggings with something other than a dress Or Long Sweater, It irritates me.

I wouldn't necessarily call someone who follows a trend fake like someone else did here.. I personally hate the mostache thing and the peep toe boots but I don't call people fake if they like that... Heck if I like something and I look good in it then I'mma rock the ish out of it! Trend or no trend.

I'm not a fan of the pointy nails and I don't understand how mustaches became so popular. I do hope combat boots stick around for a while. I'd love to get a pair..

I hate hate hate high heeled trainers, doesn't that just defeat the point of having trainers?

I'm over skinny jeans/leggings/other really tight leg things (excluding stockings-the real kind), can't wear them. Also hate peplums, I do not want to exaggerate that area or draw attention to it. Come to think of it I hate most trends and don't follow any of it but it's frustrating when you want a simple pair of pants/top/jacket and they are all a hideous 'on-trend' piece. I love shopping for my daughters (4 and 6) they have lovely clothes, wish they made adult sizes though.

I like the creative nail colors and designs. I think they are fun looking. Nay on the combat boots. I think they are heavy and not very feminine.

I don't really worry about what is a trend and what isn't. I've always loved the big donut buns especially with my curly hair the ringlets coming out look cute. I actually really like the shorter pointy nails. As for the word hipster people have been labeling others and/or themselves for ages usually its younger people who don't have a sense of self yet so they are searching as we all did.

I don't like 'swag' but the blunt studded collar shirts and ankle boots are nice.

Love: boyfriend jeans, monochrome, sixties, sports
Can't stand: Dungarees, 90'es in general, metallics, stupid lettering like "geek" etc.

More hate: Pointy nails and crosses (no religion in fashion please!)
As for hating trends simply because they are trends - that's just as sad as being a fashion slave. Have a little confidence in your own style instead, and just wear what you feel comfortable in :)

When I was growing up (oh no that makes me sound old, lol), I didnt have a chance to try the trends then. I love that my teenager daughter wears fashionable stuff but only to her tastes. I am sick if one direction stuff, lol. But 80's shirts, off one shoulder look great on her (I, myself, feel like I would just look like I am trying too hard)
