So I try to rinse my hair with cold water in the shower, but it doesn't feel too hot (pun intended). I was wondering, does it even make a noticeable difference in the long run? I use the cold shot button on the diffuser to compensate for my stubborn ways. I am curious to know if people see a difference when using cold water rinse. Does it pay off?

Yes just like she mentioned. Hot water usually causes more dandruff and cold water is more natural to the hair then hot

Ill wash my hair with warm (not hot) water and at the end of the shower ill run cold water over it. I think it reduces the any frizziness that way. Idk about anyone else but I don't feel like my hair gets as clean if I wash it in only cold water.

The last thing I do in the shower is rinse the conditioner out of my hair (I keep my hair in a bun with conditioner while I'm doing everything else, until I'm ready to rinse so its out of the way and can soak up the moisture) I rinse my hair in warm water until its clean and then blast it with cold water to seal the hair follicle so it holds in all the moisture it just absorbed

Yes yes its true. My aunt who is a hairstylist said to rinse out my hair in cold water it makes it healthier :) she also said every once in a while to put conditioner in your hair don't rinse it out, put a shower cap on, sleep with it and rinse off in the morning. I noticed a difference my hair hasnt been as dry as it used to be :) I usually do that once a couple weeks or if I'm lazy once a month lol :D.
