How do you blend your eye shadow so well. I always get blotches no matter what I try!!

Erica, have you tried using an eye cream before primer? That usually helps hydrate your eyelids so when applying shadow it won't be to dry or blotchy :-)

Wait what kind of primer do you use Erica?
May 13, 2013
Alma M.
Sometimes the ingredients in primer can also make your eyelids dry.if you use a eye cream that hydrated you may or may not want to use a eye primer and if you do want to use a eye primer make sure it also has a hydration ingredient in it.Or another option is to just use a face primer with hydrating cream and you can apply on eyelids.

Thanks Elma and Erika! Erika - to answer your question, I use a large, tapered blending brush after applying shadow to my lid and crease and use a very small blending brush to blend the darker shadow applied to the outer 1/3rd of my eye. I also use UD's primer potion, but something I've learned (with that primer, at least) is that if I use too much it works against me and gets incredibly difficult to work with. From your picture, it looks like you do a great job with blending, though!!

Omg, Amie, I lusted for it for months and finally just couldn't take it anymore!! Haha I seriously LOVE it! If I were stuck on a desert island and could only bring a few things - the Lorac Pro palette would be one of them haha :)
