How long do you normally lay in the sun with tanning oil? I do not tan easy and really want a nice tan.

I layed out for abou an hour!! I heard using lotion right after will take away from the tan.. Is that true?

Depends on your natural tone. My tan takes 20 minutes

Oh well then in that case I would be very careful. That can cause skin cancer very easily. Try sticking with lotions or sprays

Matters how the sun is also, when it is really warm I do 10, minutes each side, til I feel my skin getting very warm, which is usually about an hour, don't forget your timer tho!
