Upper Lip Pigmentation??

Hey there, I have a little problem and I'm hoping you guys/gals can help me.
above my upper lip my skin is a differwnt colour to the rest of my face. its not THAT bad but it does make me self consious to go out without makeup.
Its not like normal pigmentation marks whichbare usually dark. this is acually whiter than the rest of my face... I'm kinda lost as to what it is or how to fix it. even when I'm wearing makeup halfway through the day my makeup starts to wear off and you can see it.
any similar stories or remedies would be awesome guys. Thanks in advance :)
