Hard Candy Walk the line is a great liquid liner, I love it. Coastal Scents has a 252 palette for $25 that's just as pigmented as my MAC colors.

L'Oreal has good mascara, maybelline has good gel liner, revlon and Covergirl have good lipstick...And CS is an online company.

Everyone swears by MAC products but honestly NYX is nearly the EXACT same thing. If you're just starting out don't go out and waste a ton of money on just a name brand.
