Hi beauties :)
I purchased Wella's Color Charm Demi-permanent hair color from Sally's the other day because I've heard good things about the brand. As well, I'm a newbie with hair coloring and have never done it myself but this seems relatively simple. But have any of you tried this product or another brand of Demi permanent hair color? If so, do you have any tips, tricks or any advice?? I bought two colors : very light golden blonde and very light ash blonde. I'm not sure if I should choose the ashy color or the golden one or if I can mix them. I will post a picture of my hair currently for reference. Thanks so much and happy Cinco de mayo :))

the demi permanents are good for trying color the first time because they are gone after about 20-30 times of washing your hair. it is also very gentle to your hair. you should read the constructions very well. it will tell you to firstly apply the color on the roots (3-5 cm) and then in the lengths! so please stick to the constructions and the time you should leave it on. and due to your other pictures I would recommend the ash blonde because it fits more. your a cold type, like me :) and we can look awkward with golden hair :D

Watch a few videos on YouTube, I used to dye my hair really dark brown (natural light blond) at home with similar stuff. If you have a brush, bowl and mirror you'll be fine. I put Vaseline on my ears and face to keep the dye off ( the light color might not matter) then brush it on the roots all around your face and the back, then split it in 9-10 sections from forehead to crown area coat both sides of each section at the root. Then from crown back split into small sections from ear to ear. Work your way down and then go back and do the lengths. This way helps missing the back of your hair where you can't see and end up having a different colored spot on the back of your head. Even though is days Demi it probably won't wash completely out. It still stains your hair regardless. I agree with ash blonde, golden can tend to look yellowy really easy. Sorry for being long winded, hope that helps!

Julia and Samantha - thank you guys SO much for the detailed descriptions :) one thing though, the boxes say "no lift"... Does that mean that they will not lighten your hair at all?? Thanks again!
